Welcome back to school.
Summer Stoll: Thank you for your support of our Summer Stroll. It was a lovely evening and a great opportunity to get the whole school community together.
Summer Works: We were delighted to assist with the replacement of basketball backboards and nets and the painting of the courts and play areas to the rear of the school. Thank you to all involved.
Cárta Cúig: Many of you may decide to invite classmates to your child’s birthday party. A number of our parents have expressed an interest in embracing the trend of the ‘Cárta Cúig’ party. This means that instead of buying gifts, each child attending a classmate’s party gives a card with €5 cash inside. It may be helpful to state ‘Cárta Cúig’ on the birthday invitation. We hope this initiative might help eliminate the uncertainty, expense and waste associated with birthday gifting for families in Ballylinan.
