Last year we sent out a note about safety in and around the car park area. We would like to remind you what is needed to keep ‘your’ children safe.
Morning:
If you need to leave your car – use a parking bay. “Drop-off” means “drop-off”. DO NOT USE THE STAFF CAR PARK.
Afternoon:
Do not double park at any time. This is the most common and most dangerous problem.
Do not take short cuts across traffic on foot. Use pedestrian crossings and give good example to your children.
Do not park near or obstruct pedestrian crossings.
At 3pm – use the overflow car park (Junior Play Area). You will not be “trapped”. The traffic moves freely and there is good shelter along the front of the school if it is wet.
Parking near the main gate should be outside on the left facing away from the school.
Remember:
You are on school grounds – Drive Slowly and expect the unexpected.
If possible, reverse in – drive out.
If you are sending someone to collect your children, explain the rules to them.
